BACKGROUND
Win Climate is a data-driven climate action organization, seeking to help people stop dooming about the climate crisis and start doing something about it—together.
OUR APPROACH
They came us seeking brand strategy, a visual identity, and other collateral, that would help them reach a broad audience and meet their ambitious goals. We donated all of our time and project expenses for this project, and are continuing to work with Win Climate to build out their other brand touch points and launch a sister brand for their think tank, Think Climate.
The new Win Climate visual identity pairs a unique handdrawn earth rise symbol with a custom wordmark and a bright and uplifting color palette, which together create a flexible and standout identity system, and allow a serious climate action organization to inspire and empower a broad audience to take action—together.
The identity is evocative of the brand's personality and convictions, inspired by earth rise as seen from space, vintage activism and propaganda posters, space, land, water, and sunlight. The quirky lowercase "i" characters in the wordmark symbolize the individual finding community and identity in climate activism.
Juxtoposed with sleek, gamified, personalized UX design, this tactile, handmade identity system creates a joyful, lovable, habit-forming, human-centered brand experience.
