Abode Home Goods

BACKGROUND

Abode is a new home goods shop with a brick and mortar storefront in the beautiful town of Millerton, NY and an e-commerce shop (coming soon!).

They offer “a curated assortment of artisan & vintage goods for home, gathering, and creating.”

We partnered with Abode’s founder as she built out the new shop and prepared to launch the brand, using our 360° design approach, and helping her go from idea to opening, while considering all consumer touchpoints along the way.

OUR APPROACH

From brand strategy, naming, and visual identity, through print, packaging, and signage design, building an e-commerce website, and producing & art directing a photoshoot, we helped Abode step into the Hudson Valley business community with their best foot forward.

The handcrafted yet sophisticated visual identity we created pairs a custom wordmark with an imperfect badge shape, inspired by natural motifs such as tree rings, the handmade quality and aesthetic of their local, artisan products, and the beauty of the Hudson Valley itself. The logo system is supported by a warm and modern color palette and clean typography.
