The new owner of Tiger House, a boutique hotel in Hudson, NY, came to us seeking a visual identity that would bring their vision for the business to life, pair well with their stunning atmosphere, and pay homage to the building’s rich history.
our approach
We worked with the owner to develop a unique identity, inspired by their namesake, the luxurious and design of the mansion, including its luscious gardens, taxidermy, and architectural details.
We developed a custom wordmark inspired by the building’s original resident, the owner of Sapolio Soap, a late 1800’s soap brand noted for its early 1900s advertising and paraphernalia.
We paired it with a set of hand drawn icons we created from the building’s details, providing an expansive and flexible suite of brand assets for their future goals.
The result was a hyper custom and memorable identity system that spoke to their target audience.
