BACKGROUND
We collaborated with West Taghkanic Diner (WTD) to create an identity for the takeover of an original, 1953-diner, which would reference everything from old-time Americana to Twin Peaks while maintaining the original feel of the diner. Pairing the diner’s classic charm with the owner’s celebrated culinary chops, a memorable, fresh, and surprising customer experience ensues, allowing for the retro WTD ambiance and identity to take center stage.
OUR Impact
Since opening in 2019, their reimagined look and delicious food has attracted large crowds and attention, and has received feedback from sources like NY Mag’s Grub Street, Esquire, Wall St. Journal, and The New York Times.
